The town of Dahab
| All of Dahab's coastline is nowadays lined by a boulevard. Although it gives the place a clean, well-organised look, the down side of this is the loss of the original atmosphere. I was told that until recently, the coastline was a bedouin village harbouring a tourist population, more than the tourist place it is now becoming. Still, the original arab atmosphere is not lost and Dahab is far from being a mass tourism place. |
